Pro Silva Ireland has a diverse committee of professional people who are passionate about a new sustainable direction for Irish forests.
The voluntary committee has: expert knowledge and practical experience of Close-to-Nature continuous cover management, forest harvesting, expertise in forest ecology and forest mycology, forest policy development, timber quality and furniture design expertise and forest-farm advisory knowledge.
The Chair and Vice-Chair of Pro Silva Ireland are elected at the annual AGM. Other committee members are appointed by the Chair at the first committee meeting after the AGM.
